Château Blue: A Becoming

Château Blue Atelier is a quiet convergence of two of my lifelong loves: beautiful interiors and travel that slows you down enough to grow you. It’s a passion project that is also informed by my professional work as a systems architect, through which I have developed a deep appreciation for how systems shape what we value, produce, and preserve.

Over time, I have become increasingly aware of how systems rooted in mass production, convenience, and profit as primary aims have distanced us from the beauty and sanctity of craftsmanship cultivated over generations, from cultures that span continents, and from ways of making that honor both people and place.

I love creating beautiful spaces. In my own home, I have intentionally sought out work made by human hands, objects shaped by lineage rather than speed, each carrying the imprint of those who made them and the traditions they inherit and embody.

For years, I’ve held a soft desire to create a space where these passions could be shared, and that desire is being realized through Château Blue.

Château Blue Atelier is being built in the same way I live, through thoughtful movements that honor the full rhythm of my life and work, in communion with the places I visit and the artisans and makers I meet along the way.

As it unfolds, I invite you to return here to follow my travels, the formation of early collections, and the quiet process of bringing this creative vision into being.

From my heart and the soul of Château Blue, thank you for witnessing our becoming.

Warmly,
